Tired.

Today I am tired. When I get tired I get emotional. Its not a good combo. Add on both me and B being sick... poor Matt.  I feel like we have been running in 1,000 different directions for weeks. I miss our routine. I know it will be worth it but right now Im just overwhelmed and tired. BUT we are starting to make progress. We moved ( mostly Matt ) 3,000lbs of flooring into the house, started painting, and have moved quite a bit of stuff into the basement. This weekend we are installing new floors in at least two rooms. And... well thats all for now cause B just woke up.

Double the birthday love!

One of my good friends has ADORABLE twin girls. They turned two this summer so to help them celebrate we all got together and had a great time eating yummy food ( and cake!!), laughing, and watching our kids interact. Since they are starting to move toward the toddler stage I made them each these little travel bags with a crayon roll. I got the idea for making a crayon roll here. I think these little bags will come in handy on car trips, going out to eat, or doctors offices. Basically anywhere somewhat confined or quiet as they can also add their favorites little toys with the notebook and crayons. So Happy 2nd birthday K&S! :)

Goodbye Summer...

Here are a few of my favorite pictures from this summer. It was an interesting summer as it was our first with a baby. I cant wait for the day when I can take B to the beach and not have to worry about her eating half of it! :) I am very excited and ready for fall!

A few things crafty...

Here are a few things I have done over the summer... some skirts, leg warmers, and taggie blankets. I miss my craft room. :( 9 days till closing and 19 days till moving day. I packed up my craft room and ended up with 6 boxes that I am going to have to condense into one amour when we move....

Here we go...

So Matt and I are in the process of buying our first home. Its a "fixer-upper" which makes me nervous but I think we can do it - with the help of our family! We will be moving the first of October and we cant wait!! Today we took Bristol and Gage ( our dog) to see their future home. I think they loved it! Anyway this explains why the crafting is none existent because my craft area is being consumed by boxes. Pictures are coming soon!
