Handmade Christmas...

Or should we say this years theme was " She wont remember" I was a lazy  smart Momma and didnt even bring her gifts from us to Maine. ( Why bring them up to have her open them and bring them right back home?? ) We opened them two days before Christmas. And the play kitchen... oh the play kitchen... she got that after new years. AND the dead tree that came down the Thursday before Christmas. Oh well... she wont remember .... right?

Here are a few things I made for her...

Her Doll. ( She still needs a name.)  She already had a couple but I wanted one that I had made her.  (Plus Matt veto-ed getting her a Bitty Baby this year - living vicariously through my daughter what??) Good timing because the week before Christmas she really started playing with the dolls she had. YES!

Her big gift was her kitchen...

We had to do a little improvising in our design because as we started sanding the front started pealing away... so we ended up making it into a chalkboard. I want to add a towel rack on one end... any ideas for the other side? 

I also made her an oven mitt and pot holder to go with it... I want to make her a towel and apron to match her kitchen/ bedroom colors... you know with all my free time :)
