When we moved into our home B and I were able to claim the extra living room/ office as our Girl Cave, playroom, sewing room- whatever you want to call it. I wanted a room that was comfortable for B AND myself. Plus, you see it right when you walk into the house and from the kitchen so it needed to flow with the rest of the house.
This is the first room in the house that is pretty much done. ( We just have to put the new trim on and I need to find something for above the couch.)
Here it is:
| View from the Kitchen |
| B's wall |
| My corner :) |
| I love this to hold B's art...It is a yard stick that I hot glued clothes pins to |
| Remember the calender I talked about here? I turned it into art... |
| I love this table set... its perfect height for B. |
| I used a vintage sheet for the curtains and my sewing machine cover. ( Notice the blizzard outside??) |
| My nook :) I got this chair for $4 and the deck for $9. Thinking about painting the desk??? |
| Great way to organize ribbon... I think it was a VHS holder in its former life |
| This is on the top of my craft hutch. The vintage sewing box and hemming tool ( not sure what its called) were gifts for Christmas- love them! The prints are pictures from a 1933 Sears catalog. |
| And of course my childhood horse... clip clop. This is one of B's favorites. :) |
So there you have it. This is where B and I spend A LOT of time. :) Everything is easy to access works for our day to day routine.
SO adorable. Love the "Play" letters on the wall and all the vintage touches! The perfect blend of spaces for Momma and B. :)
ReplyDeleteSo much to love!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great room. So much to love. I love the desk the way it is (and am super jealous on that find!) and great curtains too!
