Craft Slump... and the Red Sox

So since my craft failures last week I have been kinda in a creative slump.  I mostly have been catching up on a few small projects here and there of ideas I have seen around blog land. 

One of B's friends is having her first bday this weekend and her Mom is doing an "owl" theme. I wanted to make her something to add to her summer wardrobe and remind her of her big day. :) 

I have been loving the girly owls and made up my own appliqué for A's t-shirt. 

* I used felt then realized felt has to be hand washed and hung to dry- kinda  pain for my poor friend so if you do this use fabric- your friend will thank you- Sorry Kristen!* 

I also got this little tote for the "gift bag" and added her initial to personalize it. I threw in a few summer stables to finish off the gift.

Speaking of slumps- Holy Cow Red Sox! :( 

For "my" birthday Matt got me Red Sox tickets and a night in Boston sans baby. We had a great time and got to sleep in! :)

After the game we ordered a room service ice cream sundae... room service is such a rip off.

Our hotel was really neat. It was built in the 1800's and used to be the County Jail. In the 1990's they turned it into a hotel. 

Being such a tourist.

Anyway, hopefully I can get over my crafting slump soon! :) I do have something SO exciting planned for the entire first week in May that is just for us Moms! :) Cant wait to share with you guys!
