So I have started trying to make B a few clothing items.
I wanted to get some woven tags to put in them/ on them as I feel they make your items look a little more professional.
I couldn't commit on spending the money on tags until my sewing skills improve a bit.
( I dont want to waste the tags)
BUT, I still wanted to do something. So here is what I came up with.
I got a stamp that had a cupcake on it ( which I liked to go with my blog/ clothing) and fabric paint.
Thats it! I used fabric paint that matches whatever I am sewing and stamp it where a tag would go. I like it because it adds a personal touch and no itchy tag! :)
* On these floral pjs I used this darker blue and you cant see it through the other side!*
So this will work for a bit. I still want to order tags eventually.
Ok High - Low time.
Low:
Three failed craft projects this week!
Racking the yard from the leaves I didn't feel like racking in the fall.
B teething. ( We only have a few left! )

My parents are coming this weekend!
Its going to be in the high 60s and sunny all weekend!
Monday and Tuesday Matt and I are able to get away for a night in Boston.
Have a great weekend everyone!

i night in boston...how dreamy!! about the tags...i bought this printable fabric that you just run thru your printer. the fabric i got was colorfast, so it wont bleed or fade. it comes in a package of like 3 sheets for 10 bucks..just a little fyi :)
ReplyDeleteWell the night in Boston is to go to the Red Sox game ( it was my bday gift but I think my husband is really the one loving this idea! Ha) Im still excited though!
ReplyDeleteThanks for the tip. Did you get it at Joanns or order it online? Good idea!
Enjoy the weather and some alone time. I had some labels made on ETSY that were very affordable and you can just iron them on. I love your cupcake idea though.
