I needed to make something for me, something cute AND practical.
Something I knew would not turn into a "craft failure."
I have found that a traditional "diaper" bag isn't working so well anymore.
Now that B is mobil my bags were constantly falling off my shoulder and either spilling everything on the ground or coming dangerously close to smacking B in the face as I bent down to help her.
Super annoying.
Its slim and light but has just enough room for the essentials.
Plus, the ever important cell phone pocket so you aren't digging around the bag to find your phone.
( As its ringing loudly in the middle of toddler reading time. )
I used dark fabric so it will hide the dirt of summer use but can easily go into the washer.
and just because...

It was fun to make something for myself. I should do it more.
