When we bought our home the pantry was a major selling point. I loved how much storage it offered right off the kitchen. However, the pervious owners only had TWO shelves in this huge space.
( They were also the annoying wire ones what food packages would fall through constantly.)
This lead to a horribly disorganized space- of course I have no "before" pictures but last time my Dad came over he opened the door and went "Woah."
Enough said.
It became a priority to fix since its a space the people can see when they come over so I started looking at as another small room.
So here it is... our new and improved pantry.

It really makes such a difference in how I can function in my kitchen so thank you Matt and Dad for working all weekend to put it all together! :)
It looks wonderful. I'd give my right arm to have such a wonderful pantry space. I like the solid shelves, I know lots of people buy those wire framed ones but I have always wondered about things falling through.(now I know lol ) Enjoy your new pantry, I am sure it will make finding stuff a whole lot easier and free up other space in your kitchen. :)

ReplyDeleteI took one look and immediately showed Greg! Our new house has a pantry about the same size, but with those dreaded wire shelves! So now I have to convince him that he needs to build me some wooden shelves like these. Love it. And the stenciling is such a cute idea!
